After hearing quite a few rumours about the upcoming 4 inch iPhone, we finally heard that the handset is expected to be announced on March 15. Now it seems like the handset is going on sale the same week.

According to sources, the 4 inch iPhone 5se is once again confirmed to be announced on March 15 along with the iPad Air 3. However, Apple, for the first time is said to be releasing the devices into the market the same week. The source reports that both the devices are expected to go on sale on March 18, which is just three days after the announcement.

We know that the Apple iPhone 5se is the affordable 4 inch variant of the iPhone 6s with the same A9 processor. Considering that Samsung and a few other handset makers will be launching their flagships just a few days before, it makes perfect market sense for Apple to release the devices immediately, so as to capture a chunk of the market which would prefer an affordable iPhone over the other flagships.
